Ascension Home Services Terms and Conditions

This document constitutes a binding agreement between the property owner, herein referred to as “Client,” and Ascension Home Services, including its agents, owners, employees, and subcontractors, herein referred to as “Company,” for the provision of residential cleaning services in exchange for payment.

**Permissions**

The Client or their representative agrees to allow the Company access to the property for cleaning purposes. The Client understands that there is no fixed timeframe for completing the services, and multiple visits may be necessary. The Company is also granted permission to visit the property with little or no notice to assess or verify service needs before and after the scheduled service dates.

The Client agrees to provide the Company access to their residential water supply via an outdoor spigot, which should be turned on and easily accessible on the service date. If the Client’s water supply is from a well or in an area with low water pressure or volume, the Client agrees to halt all internal water usage during service.

**Acknowledgment of Risks and Release of Liability**

The cleaning process involves high pressure and strong chemicals to remove tough stains from exterior surfaces. Although high pressure is generally avoided on residential siding, damage can occur due to factors like poor maintenance, neglect, or inferior building materials. The homeowner is responsible for ensuring the property is well-maintained according to manufacturer recommendations and that any potential issues are addressed before cleaning. The homeowner assumes all risks associated with these conditions. Before service begins, the Company will conduct a walk-through to document any pre-existing damage. The Client must acknowledge any new damage discovered during cleaning before services can resume.

The Client also releases the Company from all liability for injuries related to the placement of equipment or from debris during the cleaning process.

**Client Responsibilities on the Day of Service:**

– Ensure a water spigot is activated and accessible.
– Ensure all windows and doors are securely closed.
– Keep pets indoors.
– Clear the work area of all items, including flags, doormats, vehicles, and sensitive materials.

**Safety Precautions:**

The Client is advised to deactivate all exterior electrical supplies through the property’s breaker box to protect outdoor electrical fixtures. Removing or opening window screens is recommended to allow thorough cleaning of windowsills and facilitate even detergent distribution and streak-free drying. The Client should inform the Company of any surfaces sensitive to specific detergents.

**Media Release:**

The Client consents to the Company using photos, descriptions, reviews, and other media from the service for marketing purposes without compensation. The Client waives the right to pursue legal action over the use of such media. The Company may place a marketing sign on the property for up to one week.

**Payment Terms:**

Payment is due at the conclusion of the first day’s work unless other arrangements are agreed upon. A 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments.

**Collection of Outstanding Debt:**

The Company reserves the right to place a mechanic’s lien against the property for unpaid bills after 30 days. Interest at 2% per month accrues after this period. The Company may also pursue legal action to recover debts, including legal fees.

**Agreement to Terms:**

By accepting an estimate, the Client agrees that all terms and conditions are satisfactory and consents to the commencement of work as specified. The Client releases Ascension Home Services from liability for property damage except in cases of gross negligence or intentional harm.
